toxic baby shampoo?

I spoke to a lady afew years ago who's a dermatologist, she said johnsons isn't very good for babies skin. Apparently there were tests done on johnsons and 2 other products and johnsons was the worst. I'm sure if it's that bad though, they wouldn't be able to sell it x.

One of the health visitors told me the same thing when Ella-Rose got excema, it's frustrating tho because we got bought a load of Jonsons stuff when she was born and I hate wasting things!!!

Same as me! We got given a big hamper from work full of johnsons stuff but charley has bad sensitive skin so I've been using it instead! Lol

A health visitor at mums work said the same about johnsons. I've got a box full of it as well!

Zac got a rash off johnsons baby bath, so I don't use it anymore x

Oh dear..so what all baby baths r u all using..I had taken also 2 big bottles in baby event..:( will have to throw them now..

I often just use plain water as that was what hv advised. I have a Tesco own brand shampoo and body wash which seems ok. I have been using the johnsons nighttime bath on occasion to use it up but think I'll stop now!

Seb can't use johnson's either. I use water with a drop of lavender oil in for bath tine and wash him with little me organics stuff-hair and body x

Ignore any typos-my iPhone loves to autocorrect :)

I use simple baby bath, and dentinox shampoo x

Me neither, no problems at all?!! Dearnt use it now tho! It seems a shame!

It's not clear to me, looks like that's what the court case is about but the article implies other things are being investigated :-(

We don't use it as noas gp said its no good for his skin, I use their babyoil on his head everyday tho as its helping his cradlecap a lot. For his body I use either Tesco top n tail or just water

I use a variety on Chloe I have been lucky she hasn't reacted to any like my zander did johnsons was terrible on his skin but clo seems ok I've just bought the shampoo and I'm going to use it her hair is too long not too lol!! I'm sure if it was dangerous they would with draw stock and but a hold
On it. I gave zander dentinox teething gel when he was teething and the whole batch had been contaminated and they were with drawn and advised to return to store and not to use but we had used nearly the whole tube and the batch number matched also but he is now 2 1/2 and is healthy n happy xxxx thankfully lol xxx thanks for the info tho will def use smaller amounts xxxx

Interesting because Ella ended up in a&e after I used johnsons on her and she had a massive allergic reaction! I thought it was just her skin being sensitive- didn't realise so many other babies had issues.

I now use imperial leather bath stuff and herbal essence shampoo on her - basically whatever I'm using - and she is fine with that.

We use simple baby products or Halo and Horns for AJ.

AJ reacts to Johnsons stuff.
His skin will also react to Boots branded products and sudocrem! As well as a list of others!
