Separate bedrooms?

Ruby went in her own room after a week of being home...she slept in her moses basket inside her cot and she has slept through the night from 7 weeks old. We have a video monitor so we can see her where ever we are.

She went into her cot at 3 months, and has been brillant ever since. She loves her cot, naps well in it during the day and when she wakes in the morning she plays and squeals and we go into her.

Its very personal choice-my OH is a very light sleeper and couldnt sleep with her in the same room as us.

It worked well for us and she was in a brillant night routine from newborn. She sure likes her sleep

Just go with your instincts xxxxxxxx

I've always thought it was bit harsh to just chuck them in their own room as soon as they arrived home. Poor bugger has just spent a noisy 9 months tucked up inside listening to your heart beat, tummy gurgling and general bowel merriment and it does seem a bit mean to just say 'well thats it bugger off to your own room'.
Rowan was with us for the first 6 weeks then packed him off to his own room in his moses basket. Ahhh I'm a mean old bugger

I plan to keep Dylan with us for the 6 months due to Sids advice...i also know he isn't rady to go in his own room he doesn't like been on his own.

We plan to have our lil princess in the same room as us until she out grows her moses basket and then she will go straight into her own room sleeping in her cot .

It is a personal choice, just like every choice every parent makes i.e breast/formula, cloth/disposable etc etc.

I feel that some comments imply that its wrong for baby to be in their own room from newborn?

Again, its a PERSONAL choice and I dont think there is a right or wrong way for anything....you and your baby will find your own way
