Too warm!!

I live in London too and every time I pop into baby's room ( although he will be with us for ages) his little thermometer says 27c too hot! I think that they will be ok, I'm in a top floor flat but I do as u do keep the blinds drawn with windows open And try make it more comfortable, if anythig baby prob just won't settle in heat and be grizzly cause I sure know I've been bloody grizzly in this heat lol xx

I feel so sorry for all you in London! I'm in Scotland and haven't been sleeping for the heat, think it's only been about 17/18 here! God knows how you are all coping  xxx

well i am more than fed up of the heat. it is not fun being 6 days over and your house measuring at 30 degrees day and night.

had 2 cold baths for over an hour each time, constantly eating ice poles like 6 a day at least(again simpsons ones for £1), slept last night with ceiling fan on full power, in just pj shorts, cooling mist to spray when needed and with a cold wet flannel on my bump to try and keep cool.

was having to take flannel to the bathroom on loo breaks to re-wet it as was drying within an hour.

so fed up now. hurry up baby. xxx

my mum came up to stay yesterday and she very, very kindly bought me one of the those Dyson Bladeless fans. at almost £300 they aren't cheap but bloody hell they are effective. i keep moving it from room to room depending on where i am! and ive just come back from the shops with a box of twisters and a box of calipos. I've already eaten 2 and am on my way to get more.

Also, im about to soak a flannel in water and freeze it, then I'll have something later to put on my face.

xxx

Loving the thunder storm we're having! And the rain! I've never longed for rain and pain so much lol!
