<3<3I’m 4 weeks and 1 day and today I’ve had the worst sickness feeling. I have only managed to eat a piece of toast today and then forced some fruit down just to get some goodness down! If I’ve started feeling like this now does this mean I’m probably going to get it all the way through the first trimester or will it come and go? I’ve read that it usually comes at 5/6 weeks but can come from week 4... typical! I’ve done things around the house and then felt like I needed to lay down and have 5 minutes before getting up to do something else! Although the feeling isn’t nice I’m sure it’ll be worth it! <3

Mine started around 5 weeks, that’s when it got really bad. I was probably feeling sickly from the get go though.
Every pregnancy is different!
You might get it for a few weeks and then it calms down or you might be unlucky and have it for the whole first trimester or beyond.
People always told me it was a good sign though! Lots of pregnancy hormone in you. Didn’t make me feel any better when I was struggling to eat/move.

I’ve read that today you know... when I was desperately googling I read somewhere that studies have shown that people who had it early on were less likely to misscarry but there’s that much rubbish on the old “Google” that I thought I would ask here... I’m not a very good sickly person! But it makes all the difference knowing it’s for a good reason - thanks for your reply! Xx

I’ve had morning sickness by 4 weeks with every pregnancy so you definitely can get it this early. I’m approaching the 8 week mark now and it’s just non stop, worst morning sickness I’ve had out of all my pregnancies. With my daughter it stopped by second trimester but with my son it continued well into the first half of second trimester and then came back towards the end of the pregnancy presumably as a result of everything being squashed - he was a 9lb4.5oz baby though :rotfl:

Oh lovely... that’s something to look forward to :-? haha xxx

I had very little morning sickness, maybe threw up a handful of times. It started in week 6 and went away in week 10. At my 12wk scan I found out I was carrying twins... so I think I did well!x

Oh wow! I’d love to be carrying twins! I feel absolutely fine today but it was mid afternoon when I started yesterday so we’ll see!

Wow that’s amazing!

With my first pregnancy I was sick from 7dpo, so 3wks? Was proper throwing up the day before I missed my period. It ended at 16wks. With this second pregnancy I didn’t get sick until 5 or 6wks. I’m 23wks now and still sick!! So it’s different for every person and pregnancy but absolutely possible at 4wks!

Hiya, I'm around 4+2 and feeling super queasy, not unusual for it to happen. My first I wasn't nauseous at all x
