Tips on charting temp please

I don't know about it dipping 6 days before ovulation. The 6 temps before the luteal phase should be lower than the first luteal phase temp. If you haven't ovulated and had the temp rise then I'm not sure there's anything much to check yet. You may or may not get a temp dip when you ovulate. It's the overall pattern that you are looking for - lower temps before the luteal phase and possibly a dip at ovulation. It should then drop the day of AF. You won't know what are normal temps for you until you've done a whole cycle. My pre-ov temps are in the 35 degree range.

I always have a temp dip the day I ovulate. Do you know when you normally ovulate roughly or take opks?

I usually do opks. Also some women ovulate before the dip just to complicate things!

I usually ovulate on CD 14/15/16. So definitely not ovulated yet. I've had ewcm since Sunday which would point to me ovulating Thursday or Friday.
This mornings temp was 35.93 / 36.09. So still lower than what it had been. That seems quite a big drop though doesn't it?? I mean this could turn out to be normal for me so I'll have to wait and see. I don't sleep well, I'm often up in the night and usually when I do my temp I've only had 2/3 hours since I last woke up so this might explain it maybe. X

If it's dipping it could mean you are ovulating - make sure you dtd if possible. Bad sleep can affect it but once you go into luteal phase there ought to be a clear pattern.

I'm definitely gearing up to, I get ewcm for about 4/5 days before I ovulate. I used to feel a definite pop in my ovary so I knew exactly when I had ovulated, these days I don't feel that so it's more guess work and something isn't adding up as from looking back at my notes it seems that my luteal phase changes each month, now I know it doesn't, so I must be getting my ovulation days wrong. I'm hoping temping will make things clearer x
