I though we could share what we are all having for xmas dinner and top tips for making xmas dinner yummy and easy to do.

My tip is cook your meat the day before not only does it mean there is more space in the oven on the day it means you can check its cooked through then 20 mins before time to serve slice the meat but it in your gravy and heat. It means the gravy tastes better and it keeps your meat moist.

Xx

I do the same with the turkey! Everything is prepped the day before, even put in baking trays so all I ave to do is put in the oven! This year my mum and dad are peeling all the veg and bringing it over so it spreads the work!
Xxx

I get someone else to cook it lol!
Can't get more stress free than that!

My hubby is a chef and he prepares all the veggies the night before - potatoes can be peeled, left in water with a slice of bread so they don't go brown.

My OH is a chef so has to do xmas dinner at work (missing alex's 1st xmas) ive got 10/11 to cook for this year and they want bloody everything including 4 types of bloody potatoes xx

Yep meat done almost day before I put bk in fir a bit before dinner to have it moist, lazy veg lol I'm having prawn cocktail so make big batch up earlier on ready to serve up I'm cooking for 10 this year that's my lot plus mother n brother n they will play just dance if they want feeding pmsl xx

Yeah I cook the meats on the 23rd. That way we can slice some into rounds for christmas meal and shred rest for sarnies etc.

All have to do on xmas day then is cook the spuds, yorkshires and veg and hubby do gravy, heat meat rounds up and eat :D
