Time going slowwww

Is it just me or are the weeks dragging by for anyone else? I think i'm about 6 weeks pregnant...or at least it's 6 weeks for the day i concieved (no doubt about that as it can only have been the one occasion) but i feel as though i've been stuck at the 5/6 week mark for so long! I have my first midwife appointment this week so hopefully they'll be able to give me a little more info and reassure me a bit then. I don't know how the hell i'm going to get through 9 months when i'm already worrying and getting impatient to see baby!

I'm quite a worrier and an a well organised person by nature. I'm really struggling to be out of control and not know how things are progressing with baby. It's like we're all just winging it and hoping for the best but anything could be happening in my tummy and i wouldn't know i just really can't wait for my 12 week mark to come around and to hear someone say to me 'everything looks normal'....fingers crossed. Think that will help me relax a lot.

Same boat here hun, and you'd think that after 10 years of no contraception I'd have learnt a little patience by now. I'm also a planner and organised and not a fan of waiting for anything xxxxx

Bee7-That was like I was reading about myself, I am struggling too with being out of control, i am very organised and like to know whats happening and going on. I thought I was almost 7 weeks but had an early scan today and they seem to think I am 6weeks 3 days. The days are so long, I want the next 6 weeks to fly by too xx

I was like this at the 6 week stage, seemed to drag till about 8 weeks then the next few fly by

Now i'm finding this week is dragging, just want my scan to be over on thursday,

Tri1 is an anxious place to be, but just remember if you have no reason to think anything is wrong (bleeding, cramps) then everything will be just fine with baby try to relax and enjoy

My 12 week scan is due 26th Sept and that seems like FOREVER away. Although I'm a teacher and am back at work now so am hoping the really busy days will make the time melt away!!! Like you say, I imagine time drags really slowly, then speeds up towards the end when you haven't prepared and don't feel ready!!
