Thyroid and pregnancy

A few days before I found out I was pregnant I had my bloods done to check my thyroid and these have now come back ‘slightly outwith nornal’ I spoke to doctor who said they wouldn’t start medication as the levels aren’t that bad but speak to my midwife as she might want me to take them.

I don’t have a midwife yet, I’ve tried to get an appointment but can’t get one until a week on Friday. I’ve tried phoning just to speak to a midwife but the line is constantly just ringing out.

I don’t know where to go with this. I’ve read thyroid issues can cause miscarriages and I’ve previously had 2 so I’m terrified of waiting another week and a half. I dunno what I’m supposed to do!!
