Thoughts Please - Twin Girl Names

Twins! How exciting!!! Do you already know that they are identical? I like all the names you've chosen. I like Emilia with an E too. I wouldn't worry too much about people not knowing how to spell it. Xx

Gorgeous names! I actually prefer Emilia to Amilia to be honest. I love Florence...but I am biased! I also love Ivy

Aww i like both names! Will you call Sebastian "Seb"? Xx

Sent from my shit hot phone! Fo shizzle home girls.

They will be identical yes, hehe Florence is my grandmothers name who passed so I really wanted that in there. Glad you all seem to like them :)

I think I'd probably call a boy Seb occasionally but I prefer Sebastian, maybe when he gets older he'd be called Seb more, I know with my name Samantha I'm always just called Sam by people even if I've said my full name.

I love the names! My LO is Dylan so I'm a bit biased! I think that no matter what name you choose they will be asked to spell it. My name is Catherine and I constantly have to spell it and say Catherine with a C, same as my surname. We also keep getting asked how to spell Dylan as there are a couple of ways x

Those are beautiful names, I love the middle names!!

I love the names! but I know what you mean about having to correct people all the time who asume spellings etc....I have the same problem with my daughter- her name is Mirren and I have to spell it out to almost everyone new who hears it! and most of her family still call her Miriam! grrrr

lovely names, I am a Jenni and not a Jenny, and have spent years correcting people, and now when they ask is it with an Y or an ie!! I just say neither and laugh or when they choose a spelling, I don't correct them unless official paperwork, where it's jennifer anyway or is they choose, like with a Y? I say yes thats right.... ha can't be botthered.

So A spelling might be easier, but like you say, nicer to have them with different letters, I have a Joanne as a sister and we used to race to open the Miss J post.....

Then again more and more people are spelling names differently nowadays so perhaps Emilia will become more normal and it will be easier for her...

Honestly, the very thing I thought was - why have they spelt Amelia like that, it's like you got confused between Amelia and Emily.

Amelia and Emily are both nice and so is Florence and Ivy. Abigail isn't to my taste xx

I love them. Actually like Abigail and amelia together. It kind of works :) have u any boys names in mind?

congratulations on the twins, do you have twins in your family?
I love the girls names but yes i think people will spell emilia with 'a' alot tbh, but if u like it you will just have to tell them, have her wear a name chain her whole life hah!
Sorry i dont like the boys names much, dont dislike them though.

I like the idea of twins having names with same letter so i like abigail and amelia :p

They really are beautiful names. Abigail ivy is amazing xxx

Love the names but do prefer the conventional spelling of Amelia

xxxxxxxx

Lovely names, but am I the only one who is reminded of Disney's Arisocats? Abigail and Amelia where the Geese that tried to help the kittens!!

When I read the names together it was the first thing I thought of :)

Wow!! twins. This is really going to be fun. I think Emilia with 'E' is really a good option as it is different from other names and not al all popular.
