Hi everyone,
Had a very sleepless night with what I am almost postive were early contractions. They kept me up for about 3 hours, lasting about 30 secs each and about 5-7 mins apart. They did get really strong, but then I got up to go to the loo, and when I got back into bed, had 2 really enormous contractions which resulted in me in teas, dh woke up and asked if I was ok and I said that I think it's starting, but then it all stopped!!
Had a couple more 2 hours later, and then a few just before I got up, but nothing since.
I did have a rather loose bowel movement though (not loose enough to be diorreah, but a lot looser than usual - sorry tmi). My last 2 I had loose bowels the day they were born.
Feeling a bit strange now, but no pains. Had quite a walk doing the school run, but it doesn't seem to have triggered anything off.
I am a rather disappointed to say the least. What can I do to get things going again? I did do a bit of nipple stimulation when it all stopped in the night, and it did produce an almighty contraction, but just the one.
I was convinced I would be in the throws of labour by now, and poor dh got all excited asking what we are going to do with the kids and should he ring the midwife, and it all stopped as soon as I told him.
Please, please let it start again today.
