Those weird life-like dolls

welllll..at least he's used to doing all the housework :rotfl:

I think some of them are ok, I was looking at them yesterday, I thought there were a few cute ones

I think the baby ones are gorgeous and I know my girls would have loved one when they were younger, but the older looking ones are weird - and I cant see any reason for "adults" buying them other than being a collector or a weirdo

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I want Charlie! I bet he never farts, scratches his balls, or snores!!

I was just thinking about these when I saw the ad above.

I'm sure we have/had a member who made these re-born dolls?

I find them a little eerie but can't deny the time, effort and talent that goes into some of the creations.

I believe they can be made in the image of a passed child which I find creepy but could bring solace to some I guess.

They are a bit creepy. One of our tenants had some on her spare room bed. My boss called them the dead babies, she wouldnt let me see them because she thought they'd send me into labour.

There is a company (not sure if its the same one) who will do a doll for grieving parents of stillborns or young babies.

Did you not see the tv programme on real dolls budge?

Oh god I saw that. It was one of those things you dont wanna watch but you cant swith off either

I read an article about those dolls in a magazine and the lady said that she often makes them for people whose babies have died. I suppose if it helps you grieve...but I wouldn't like one.

I saw on a news channal a few months ago that these dolls were aimed at people wanting babies and babies that have died :puke:

One company i saw on there made replica dolls of these womens dead babies, :puke:

I dont know why someone would want to do that. You cant hold onto a doll like that!

They are quite freaky

I'd be forever scared that they'd move !!

I find the idea of them being made for women who have lost babies quite disturbing to be honest, I think it would only prevent them from moving on and dealing with their grief.

I wouldnt personally have it done, as i believe you have to move on - its the only way to deal with drief.

Breathing one??? thats sick, just imagine how a woman 'could' react if they had one of those made, especially if they have lost a child.....god the results could be dire. And could really psycologically f*** someone up in the head had that happened to them.

I know im waffeling and i hope you know what im getting at!
