Think this is normal....but just wanted to check....

Hi everyone!

I think what I'm experiencing is normal, but I just wanted to double check, and to see if anyone else experiences this...

Every so often I've had aches down below, what I would describe as similar to the ache you get before your period comes on and in that area... its not painful in anyway but I notice it and it goes after a minute or two....and there is no bleeding or spotting....

has anyone else had this? is it growing aches etc? i know i'm probably overly worrying but just wanted to check!

I started getting them at about 16 weeks but this isnt my first baby, we are all different so it maybe the start for you.

I think maybe its just your body changing, its probably stretching aches as your babies growing. I had quite painful pulling pains at the side of my tummy about the stage you are now, they were very sharp sudden pains though.

Another thing it could be is irritable bowel when we are pregnant we tend to get constipated so you can get some pains from that. It doesn't sound as if it is anythign to worry about but you can always ring and check with your midwife or doc hun if you want to

i had these pains for past 2/3 days and was worried myself but have been told they are streching pains.

Very commom as long no blood ect no need to panic.

But they are sharp pains every now and then .

I get lots of aches and pains still. Quite bad this morning in fact, but i've listened to the h/b today and all fine, so i reckon it's just the usual pregnancy pains!!
