Well as you guys all know, being a Mom is great. But there are tiny things that we all don't like - that may or may not get better, depending on how many kids you have!

1 Not being able to finish a cuppa. Ever. I have started plenty!

2 Seeing how other peoples children behave and hearing them say - you'll learn!

3 Not being cuddled as much by OH because we're both too busy so that at the end of the week you feel like you've not seen him in about a month.

4 People who look at you and say "you're grand, you only have one!"

5 No lie ins any more - because although Saturday is my lie-in, we're always doing summat on Saturday.

Mine are:-

1) Not having a lie in for 3 years!!

2) Can't have a nap in the afternoon if I'm tired, there is always one child awake!! lol

3) not being able to go to bed early, there is always bottles and tidying etc to do and then it ends up being about midnight!

Ooh i hate cutting nails - used to file them but fat lot of use that was he still ended up looking like Freddy Kruger. I'm always terrified i'll cut his tiny fingers or toes.

Totally agree about the cuppas - i've taken to warming them up in the microwave as i can't be assed to make a new one.

Hubby hates how i examine each and every one of Jakey's poos. I'm obsessed - seriously

the constant feeling I can't do anything right

Aah, Beanie that'll be the guilt chip I hear they implant at the birth :D

God I was just going to add 'constant guilt'. Although dh says I give Zara loads of attention I always feel like I don't do enough. Glad I'm not alone.

I'm the same. We just drove back from Tesco's and Damien was winging in the back seat of the car and I felt soooo guilty that I couldn't be in the back with him calming him down, and that Vauxhall won't turn the airbag off so I can't have him in the front. Evil horrid mum.

I hate being so un-incontrol of Damien's health, that's the worst thing. When you can't do anything to make them better. I'd give up all my lie-ins and cups of tea for him to be healthy :)

Ive not went to the loo with the door closed when jess has been home for 2 years.

 i thought it was just me that happened too  if i close the door beth screams if i take her in the bathroom with me n close the door she still screams  so much easier to leave the door open now iv given up

I don't like the fact that I have a son who is so precious to me and I would die for yet there are people all around us who he means nothing to. It really scares me, especially when we are out in the van and someone cuts us up or just pulls out infront of us. I want to shout "but I've got Isaac in here"!

Hope you understand what I mean?!!?

Lou :)

on more of a serious note....

im obbsessed by them its my worst fear ever, pervy wierd crazy people....

and the world is full of them i seen on the news something like1 in every 6 children will be abused before the age of 16 and a very high % is a reletive

knives  i went kick boxing for yrs and was the best thing as i no that i can handle myself i have always swore i will send my 2 so if some one atacked them they could protect themselves but knives. :x

people are stabbing people like there is no tomorrow :|

peopdohiles scare me too, can't remember who posted it, but it was a poem about being a mum and the fear she has when her son decides one day he wants to use the big boys toilets and she knows she cant go in there with him and that there could be a wierdo on the other side of the door, that breaks my heart. Damien is going to be peeing in trhe ladies till he is 10, or he can go with his dad! :(

I know exactly how you feel Lou

Remember though Dionne that most people are abused or attacked by someone they know. Its rare for strangers to just attack people. I do know what you mean though, it scares me too but its one of them things you can't think about too much or you'll worry yourself sick. You know your bubby's are safe with you and the people you keep company with so we all just have to protect our little ones and ourselves as much as we can.

Have to admit the thought of them scare me because they could be anyone. Zacks potty trainning at the moment, he goes though loads of underpants because he cant pull them down in time, so I though best thing to do is leave his trousers and underpants off so hes naked from waist down. Postman rang the door bell (more ebay stuff  ) I had to make him wait before I opened the door (put zack some underpants on) because I didnt want him to see zack naked from the waist down

Sorry if that sounds a bit o.t.t :? but the thought of someone perving over my child or any child for that matter sickens me.

Sorry now ive got that off my chest heres my list;

1: When zack calls my name over and over again trying to get my attention when im talking to someone (cant get him to stop)

2: Im a clean freak so having to pick up after him all the time

3: Worried im doing a bad job bringing him up

4: Zack having to go to the toilet with me when I go. Hes a bit clingy.

5: Zack sreaming in shops I get so embarrassed

Im sure ill add to this list in time, hes asleep right now so cant think of any bad points lol wait till he wakes up tho, ill have a HUGE list! hehe

i no and i do find myself going crazy...
for eg....

i was at work with my mum, (shes a cleaner in pc world) there is a old man that works there he used to be a teacher in ireland but for some reason gave it up and got a job at pc world, he seemed sooo lovely and as he knew i worked for bt broadband he was telling me his broadband aint working. and how hes so upset he needs it for online banking ect. i felt really sorry for him he begged me to help. i knew i was risking my job but i pulled out every thing i could and got it on the next day

found out a few weeks ago hes had his pc taken from him by the police and is in court next week for child porn all over his internet :x

no wonder he was in a rush for it.

and hes met Dior and was talking to her saying how cute she is and will grow up to be a lil cracker :talkhand:

dont even go there peodophiles are my worst fear my uncle was that way inclined which was such a total shock i was really close to him, but my mum told me he used to make prude comments about me and he was arrested its awful you just don't know as a child if someone is affectionate towards you you think they just like you.
i even worry about my oh's family ect... because you don't know
did you all hear about the baby 9 months old the babysitter and boyfriend good friends of the mum sexually assaulted the baby and filmed it, it makes my skin crawl.

:(

That was on the news wasnt it, I was so upset about that. The guy could have had his knob and balls chopped off for doing something liek that and to a baby. That sort of thing makes me SO angry.

you really have to try hard not to think about it. i hold my breath everytime kieran goes out to play football over the park especially if he is 30 secs too late.

violet when zack throws a paddy in the shop have you thought about doing what that lady did in the advert and have a tantrum yourself. loved that advert. :D

some one please tell me how you cope when your child grows up and wants to go out to play with out you by their side

il have a nervous breakdown.... but i dont want to be a possesive mum...

my 11yr old brother came home from school last week saying he was going up the park for a fight  and if he didnt then he would get picked on for being a wimp ect ect and this lad would keep teasing him in school :(

my mum was climbing the walls but what can u do
