These names are shocking !

Before I tell you the names please if anybody does like them don't get offended its how I feel about these names

My partners cousin has a little girl and her name is Tree, when I first heard this I p*ssed myself laughing and couldnt believe it ( apprently there cousin is proper weird anyway and most of the family made abit of a joke of it then forgot about it.

She got caught pregnant again but unfortunatly miss carried and that child was going to be called leaf.

She is 6 months pregnant now with the third and her child is going to be called Acorn Shes nuts !!


Tree doesnt seem so bad now and her mum and dad ( both very respectable people) are gutted and wont talk about the name.

Both me and my partners mum can't believe what names she has and doesnt she realise that when they go to school there lives will be really awful as if school isnt bad enough and hard enough to fit in with, without added complications of the names?

Yes im sure she loves her kids lol but really hasnt got a clue about how much her kids are going to get the P*ss taken out of them when they get to school and through out life if they don't change their names, bless tho Tree is a gorge little girl ever so sweet and shes gonna have such a ruff time especialy as her little sister is going to be called ACORN !!

LOL I can't beleive those names, i think that is taking the unusual a little too far - I heard of a girl who named her son Earth - I think Acorn makes that seem tame! And we were wetting ourself when we found out too!

 

I like unusual names, not sure about Acorn, but at the end of the day names are getting wierder and more unusual so I don't think it's that out of place. I've heard of a few lads called leaf recently, I think its quite nice Alot of people wouldn't name their kid Damien because of the whole 'devil child' thing so I get noses turned up at me all the time, feels a bit mean because obviously I think it's lovely.

Damien is a fab name, I imagine of a 'strong yet sensitive' bloke when I think of it. It went out of vogue for a few years because of the film but I know a few little Damiens now and they are all sweethearts!

I'm kinda torn on the daft name thing. I desperately want something a little unusual, I can't think of anything worse than my son being one of 8 Jacks in his class (please no-one take offence if you've got a Jack, first name I thought of!), but maybe Acorn is a step TOO far.

ALMOST anything goes though. I don't know how much stick someone would get for their name. It's unlikely any child would have the ONLY unusual name in their class, and lets face it, if they're gonna pick on you they'll find something. We all know kids can be cruel.

My mom has a lady that works with her who named her daughter Canyon and Her son Rive like River pheonix. What makes it so bad is there last name is NOrth.
My dads hairdressers name is Cindy and she named her daughter wendy their last name is butts. How cruel is that. Just thought i wiould share with you.

There was a brother and sister in my school called Blue (boy) Pepper Girl) we also had a Perequin!!!!!! for dome reason he got called Pippin, i don't know which is worse

I wanted something unusual for mine, but not so unusual that they got picked on OH wasn't having any of it, But on the bright side Emily is the only one in her school with the name yet there is about 15 Josh's Loads of Caitlins and paiges
