totally agree it doesnt matter how babies get their food as long at they get it when they need. I just have had so many negative and rude comments about me not BLW Ellie but trust me I would love for Ellie to be able to pick up a piece of food and get it to her mouth instead of her ear lol but she cant so therefore I need to TW her, I just feel that as BLW is the new craze you get all the negative comments if you decide ot have to TW your baby where as there is nothing negative really ever said about BLW

Ive been told on many occasions that cause I TW Ellie I am force feeding her as she cant decide when and how much food she has but we know obv if Ellie doesnt want anymore she just refuses and clamps her wee mouth shut, little madam lol and comments like it is uncecessary to give babies pureed food, well again Ellie is one of those babies that need her food pureed due to having no gag reflex therefore if the lumps were too big (at this moment in time) she cant gag to tell us

So I rally having nothing again BLW or TW as Ellie is being TW at the moment but will get onto BLW eventually (we hope) xx

Hi all, pointless thread, just having another rant.
just a visit from a 'weaning lady' to get me all prepared for weaning zak. Well.... all i can say is that im glad ive got pf !! ive learnt sooo much more on here reading these threads than i learnt from her ! absolutely useless. feel like ive got so many more questions bt she was in a big rush to get out of here after turning up 20 mins late. y did i bother waiting in on such a nice day for that ??! xx

did she no even give you the chance to ask questions my HV came out with a nutritionist and was in or about 50 mins this is what all the mums in our area get and then we get the chance to go along to a weaning programme where we get to cook all sorts of food for TW or BLW xx

Right there is absolutely no need for the same debate to be carried from thread to thread to thread It's causing bad feeling among the forum.
