I would like to thank god and my family and my friends and my chickens for providing me with all the eggs and farmers that grew the carrots and the kale that i ate and the soil for providing the carrots and the kale, oh and Tesco for selling me the carrots and kale and i would like to thanks my dogs because they're cute and i anyone else who contributed in some random way to this achievement and anyone who i forget to mention... oh, my husband too... and the fridge for keeping the carrots and kale nice and cool and everyone else - i feel so blessed :cry:

Anyway!

I wonder smetimes if i carry a load of water weight due to food intolerences, i often feel bloated, because as soon as i eat carefully i do drop a lot pretty quickly.

My husband says i'm being stupid because i'm only on 800-1000 calories but it's the only way i can do it :blush:

I lost my pound again this morning!! woohoo! Wobbles what's the cambridge diet?

whoop! Sounds like youre gonna have a good weigh in monday. Its getting to the stage round here where Im too tired to eat so fingers crossed that will at least help me to lose some weight!
 
OK its weigh in day. i actually weighed myself today and i havent lost any weight since 2 weeks ago butim ok with that cos i thought i wouldve gained loads the way ive been going :roll: Im def having some motivation issues! how are you girls getting on? I think we need some motivation boosting now we're in week 3! Im just imagining christmas day and what im gonna wear... :/
 
just over 9 weeks til christmas. i need to be losing 2lb a week to make my target. me and the boss (Morgan) are going for a walk with him in the sling!

Well, during the week I had lost two pounds but I seem to have put them back on :( We've been doing loads of work in and around the house, painting the masonry outside, laying tile floors and the likes but that means we've had take-aways as it's been so late by the time we get food, eek! I'm actually quite surprised I haven't put weight on! And I've not been drinking so many fluids which I think helps to flush out all the rubbish. Anyone trying any natural remedies to aid weightloss, any herbal preparations?
 
I weigh in at 153lbs this morning, so another 4 lbs down :D

Although i don't think i should win the award thing again (just incase) so give it to someone else who has done really well :)

I tried Adios before Meg and it worked for me, although not using it this time yet. I don't know if the actual ingredients helped me, but it really helped me to stick to 3 meals per day and snacking was my weakness back then.

My tip of the week is - protein!

I have lost 1lb!! I have been trying to eat healthily and have been on my wii fit every morning for half an hour. Was hoping I had lost more than that.

My MIL has just gone on the Atkins diet and lost hlaf a stone in a week and a half......

Megs, youre the same as me, cracking start with 4lb lost then nothing for 2 weeks. this is my week girls, im predicting that im gonna give myself the slimmer of the week award next monday :lol:

Im off to make chicken soup from the roast dinner left overs.
 
So frustrating isn't it! I figure I could have been a lot worse off if I hadn't been working so hard over the weekend.

oooh is that the jamio oliver one?! Its my fav, Ive got portions of it permanently in my freezer :love:
 
I've not tried the Jamie Oliver one? I do LOVE his recipes though, I have quite a few of his books! Have you been watching his 30 minute meals on Channel 4? How the hell does he do it????? Last week he made a roast dinner, yorkies the lot in half an hour!!!! I
 
I know i watch him do it and Im amazed!!! Takes me that long to peel and chop the carrots!! :rofl:

the sweet potato and chorizo soup is in his ministry of food book. i love all his recipes in there, just little twists and tricks to make life easier. do you add curry powder and chilli to yours?

I'm certainly having motivation issues :wall2: I have been walking more though and my tummy feels smaller?
I've decided I dont drink enough fluids for a start, so starting tomorrow

I add curry powder but not chilli. I dont like too much spice!! I;m one of these that goes for a curry and has a korma!! :) oooohhh....Korma.......

today i had 2 weetabix, go ahead bar, snickers and a bag of crisps, i need to drink drink drink too!!
 
vix! You must be superwoman!! I could barely remember how to turn on my laptop when my LO was your nameless babies age! Do you have a target weight or are you just looking to eat healthy?

P.S. I just finished 1 litre of water :yay:
