The thing thats upsetting more is that they refer to the women as prostitutes - i know they are but hey are women first and foremost.
I think it sort of de humanises the women and makes the killings less important. Which they aren't.

i went into ipswich today even after dad begging me and mum not to we had to stay togever at all times, there were hundreds of police all over the place and there were no laughing and stuff from public u could really tell it was a town in mouring!

my aunt was in the town and we met by accident and my uncle is a high up detective in the suffolk police dealing with serious crime, she said that he didnt get hom till 11 last nite and had o be bck there 6 today, and they cant see this man stopping till he is caught!!

thankfully there has been nobody go missing or turned up dead today as far as i know and i just pray it stays like that

Totally agree. I was reading about the poor families today saying basically the same thing.
At the end of the day, its someones daughter/mother/sister

The shocking thing is the rate at which they have been murdered.
This man (I guess we should assume its a man?) has obviously been on an almost unstoppable killing frenzy.

It's not as simple as that, not only are most of these women addicted to some sort of drug ( mainly heroin ) some are also addicted to the buzz of getting paid.

Just because they have sex for money it doesnt make it right for them to get killed, they are just an easier target for sick bas*ards like this.

Have to agree to disagree on this one. I am totally against prostitution so although I don't agree anyone should be killed, even them it's only for their families sakes, not theirs, they know the risks.

I don't agree with the occupation but nobody deserves to be murdered, who knows what pushes them to do this for a living?

Regardless of what they have chosen to do I feel sorry for the family who are left behind, there's nothing worse than losing a close member of your family.

I also have to agree with the fact that the press don't need to address them constantly as prostitutes.

i think it does need to be mentioned as fact during the news read so women know it' a murderer looking for a specific set of women but I think it's terrible that they aren't seen as women, just prostitutes.

Sorry to go on but this has been annoying me too

It doesnt matter what they do, they are still people!! I hate seeing them on the streets to, but would never wish them harm.

Taxmen only exist because of the society we live in. If this was a kibbutz it wouldn't. I don't care, if women want to sell their bodies that's their business, its just not something that I would do. Even is prostitution didn't exist, this mad man would still have a desire to kill, it would just be a different set of victims.

It is so upsetting! Apparently lots of their relatives are finding out for the first time that these women were prostitutes, did anyone catch the interview with the father of one of them? He was broken, the last contact he'd had with his daughter was to send her £15, the next thing he knows is that she's dead and was a heroin addict and a prostitute whilst she was alive. Poor guy, he was broken. When my dad died last year I was so pleased in a way that I was burying him, it was the right way round. I think it must be so awful to bury your child.
