Ive been moaning quite a bit recently about heartburn and ive decided that its time to stop focusing on the bad things about being pregnant and remember the good! :cheer:

So come on girls...whats good about being pregnant? (apart from the fact we will have a baby in a few months! )

I will start the list...

1) I dont need to hold my tummy in anymore!

2) No period! I have painful, heavy ones usually so it's lovelyto have a break

3) A good excuse to have a lie down on the sofa!!

3) All the attention and anticipation!

4) Being able to satisfy weird food cravings and maybe even persuading other people to accomdate and make your weird food cravings!

5) Looking forward to x number of months off work!

6) If pregnant for the first time, being able to sleep sleep sleep on days off!

7) Decorating the nursery/baby's room

8) Unprotected s*x!

...can you tell I'm missing it!?

not having a flabby belly anymore so can wear nice clingy clothes to show off my bump!

having a bump balances out my ginormous boobies so makes em look smaller!

talking to James about what it will be like when his little brother / sister is here

planning funny christmas cards featuring both kids in ridiculous outfits next year... :rotfl: (yes im a cruel mummy!)

having my hubby massage my feet (he only seems obliged to do this when im preggers!)

not feeling guilty eating choccie and other goodies!

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

being able to eat what I want when I feel like it and not feeling gulity about eating it :cheer: :cheer:

Not worrying how much I weigh

No more need for dieting

Taking it easy at work and having a reason too lol.

You know what, i'm finding that the most wonderful thing about being pregnant is actually feeling my little boy grow inside me week by week and moving about. I try and guess what part of him i can feel moving and the other day i saw a foot or something that size move from one side of my belly to the other

I suddenly feel a real bond with my bump and cant stop holding it (almost like he's already born). When he responds to a poke or belly rub it makes me giggle and his movements keep me occupied for hours. I never thought it would be so magical but that makes up for the bad bitsm the morning sickness, the emotions, etc etc. Who cares about al that now.

Today he's being ever so quiet and you know what, i'm missing him so much

Does that sound very sad ???

any plans for another one?

Might just be me, but losing weight! Ive never known it to fall of me so quickly! (problem is im going to put it all back on again, but don't burst my bubble yet! )

yes, i like the shopping bit (though im just window shopping until i'm further along..)

I like just feeling different. I just wish i had a big bump though so i could actually look pregnant rather than just feeling it! Might get a seat on the tube then!

people fussing around me at work! I don't have to tidy up to much after myself (work as a teacher!)
friends planning to have a girlie babyshower (with a few girlie pamper treats thrown in!)

Not enjoying being the taxi when friends are drinking tho!!

I love my bump getting bigger - instead of me having to stick it right out to make the point that I am pregnant and not just a chubber!

Counting the weeks down to maternity leave

Having a license to wear my PJs all weekend and almost as soon as I get in from work

I love hangover free weekends

I love the feeling you get when you're REALLY hungry and kind of craving something and then you get to bite into it and it's AMAZING in a way that just never happens when you're not pg!

Also... now this might just be me but.... anyone else having stronger orgasms or more of them because I do and now I've started to feel like sex again it's awesome! Must be all the extra blood down there or something.. hope it's not just me

My hair is lovely! Shiniest and siliest it's ever been. Skin is soft too!

Balancing out the boobies - definately!

Getting massive portions for my dinner and not feeling guilty (that baby needs some fooooooooood!!) :rotfl:

People giving up seats for me (at work, is yet to happen on the tube/train/bus!)

After years of being second favourite to my sister, I am now my mum's top dog as am having the first grandchild

Buying baby clothes!

oops  actually hair is the silkiest it's ever been, not the siliest :rotfl:

Hmm...yes...time for bed methinks

Oh...what about the fact that we get to give our belly buttons a really good clean when they pop out?

Having a visable bump
My DD coming up to me and rubbing my belly and then giving it a little kiss, (so, so sweet)
being able to eat a plateful of food and not feel guilty
