Hi NIcknack,
After reading your story I thought I'd write to give you that extra bit of reassurance. I had ivf due to two blocked tubes and fell first time. I won't lie the hardest part of the whole thing was the 12 days of waiting and not knowing what was happening inside. The best advice I can give you now is to try and relax not easy i know and try not to think of the worst case as I found myself breaking down every day,in the end my husband poured me a big glass of wine and told me to not stress. I realised that I had to carry on as normal as if it was happening naturally I wouldn't know a thing so then went back to the gym got out and saw the girls ( even went to Cheryl cole lol). Before I knew it it was the day before and I broke down at work as I had period like pain So made my excuses and ran home thinking that was it infact was adamant. It was so hard not to test as knew had less that 24 hours so might show but because the hubby was at work I didn't. First thing the next morning we did the test and he read it as a no and told me we would go on holiday, but before I said anything I checked it myself and there were two lines, he read it too early! We are now expecting a little boy on 7th July. I too had quite a few eggs removed (17) and I suffered from ohss so pain was from that and my ovaries Have only just gone down.
Sorry I have waffled a bit, but like I said stay positive keep busy, active and do as u would normally. Wishing you ever bit of luck xxx
