i think she was pushed.

I think she was going to marry a Muslim (Dodi) and possibly convert to Islam.
The royals panicked knowing how many other men and women who idolised Diana would follow suit.
So they bumped her off before it happened........

imagine what the implicatins are going to be if that theory is right!¬ Could mark the end of the Monarchy

I def think it was not an accident it was all to covienient but think there will sill be alot of evidence that has convieniently dissapeared too much cover up for my liking and it has taken far to long

I'm not sure. I think there are much more simple ways of bumping somebody off that 'staging' a car accident.

She had only just met Dodi, they had been together just a matter of weeks, and she was on the rebound from another relationship, so I don't think there's anything in the marriage and pregnancy rumours.

Also, if you read the Bodyguards version of events it sounds as though the security that night was a shambles. The bodyguards weren't kept informed about what was happening. It was Dodi's last minute decision to use a decoy car, and the bodyguards thought this was a crazy idea, but had no choice but to go along with it.

I think it was just a tragic accident, but I guess we'll never really know.....

I think it must have been hard being as she was in the spotlight all the time . a car accident was an easy option IMO.

There was no guarentee she would die in a car accident. Lots of things would have had to come together at the same time in order for it to work. How could 'they' have known that Dodi would request a decoy car a the last minute, and drive a different route? Too many things left to chance as far as I can see.

The wierd thing I just don't understand is the carbon monoxide levels in the drivers blood. That is confusing

I agree with you Budge but I don't think we'll ever find out the truth. Whoever got rid of her will get to the jury too. It's all corrupt if you ask me.

i think it was an accident. i think the crash was caused by a mixture of high speed, distraction from the paparazzi and the fact that it was a different friver who was given the job that night, instead of her usual one. and the one who drove the car was slightly tipsy apparantly. i don't think anyone would have planned a murder to happen in that particualr way. if someone out there really wanted diana to die they would have organised it differently

Sorry guys, but can we add a fourth option to this poll? Something along the lines of 'don't care anymore'. Not wanting to sound harsh, but this whole tragic event has been drawn out and drawn out for far too long now. I just get tired of hearing about it

Yeah I heard that if she had been wearing a seatbelt she probably would have been ok.

An accident is just an unfortunate set of circumstances that ends in a tragic result - there's no rhyme or reason - people need to accept it and move on..

I have just finished reading a book about this, I think it was called murder of a princess or something. I read it with an open mind but I definitely think this was an organised event. It was far too conveniant for a lot of people to have her out of the way.

However, I don't think we will ever find out the truth, it will be another JFK with conspiracy theories floating about but a massive cover up to stop the real truth coming out.

Well, I always think there are more to things than meet the eye, I read up on this as it fascinates me - what I did read was on the net though so possibly not that reliable!! Heres what I found:

At the exact time the car was entering the tunnel, the cameras that are on all the traffic lights in and around that area and the cameras that were on the tunnel suddenly went down

At the same time as they went down the police radio channels went down and there was no contact about the accident happening

Once Diana had been taken from the car and put into the ambulance the ambulance took her to hospital - not the closest hospital to the crash site, one that was miles away and took much longer to get to

When the journey was timed, it transpired that there are 10 minutes that the ambulance cannot account for, they stopped for these ten minutes but noone knows why

So all in all, more to it than meets the eye. I was in America at the time and because of the time delay we were watching as it happened, eye witnesses report Diana walking around with a broken arm - there are doors in teh tunnel, my Dad thinks she went through these doors and is living on an Island somewhere, I think that perhaps she is with Elvis, ;ord Lucan and Shergar
