The cooking fat (literally)

The blinking cat keeps jumping on the work surface and licking the baking trays and plates after I've cooked dinner . I could stop her by washing up straight after dinner but I can't be bothered. I only caught her recently (she's 8 so has probably always done it) doing this and couldn't work out why she was so fat!

My cat Rudie does this too

His favourite is the george forman drip tray.

Not sure how to stop this really, I just put the trays on top of the fridge as he never jumps up there!

you would of thought the taste and smell alone would be enough to put the cat off.put a plate over the top?put em back in the oven til your ready to wash em up?cant think of anything else.
