What made me laugh was that Emily and Charli had such a go at Shabnam when she asked about it and kept saying she'd overheard wrong...nope - she'd heard right,mainly cos Charli told her but just shows how Emily will deny saying/doing something to get herself out of trouble. They really annoyed me - much as I dislike Shabnam she did ask to speak privately and and deal with it properly and they both shouted her down.

I think Emily is a silly littel girl who has no idea of the origin of the word and thinks its just a pet name! I hope her and her silly friends have learned their lesson now, and anyone else out there who thinks its ok to use such words willy-nilly

I also think BB done the right think in airing it and getting her out, firstly because after the slating they got for the shilpa thing they need to make it absolutely crystal clear that anything like that will not be tolerated regardless of context or intent - I totally agree with that. But also because its things like this that open up public debate, that give us lots of different viewpoints on the matter and may change a few peoples minds on stuff like this, which can only be a good thing in my opinion!

Im also seeing Charly in a different light, she could have gone to town on her and cried racist abuse, but she didnt, she done her best to understand that it wasnt meant in a racist way even though it still so obviously upset her, she seemed to be more concerned about how it would effect emily. Im starting to wonder if she is all front through insecurity and we might start to see another side? She reminds me of my sister a bit

Still hating shabbyman (why hasnt that caught on yet lol) and charlene now too, they are both spoilt and vain, both seem to love shouting over people and not actually listening to anything anyone says, grrr Im hoping for a double eviction lol

i agree GGG, about charli. it really changed my opinion of her because you could tell she was shocked when emily said it but she tried to understand why she said it, which takes a lot of guts and intelligence to do. many people would have just sounded off at her but she didnt and you could tell she was offended which makes me even more angry that emily was soo self centred that she didnt see that and apologise to them straight away. BB gave emily the chance to say she was sorry and to explain that she didnt mean it in an offensive way but admit that it is an offensive word but she just didnt have the sense to use that opportunity. she totally believed that what she sed was justified and that shows what a naive and stupid little girl she is. i think chanelle is a spoilt brat but she does make me laugh. she crys over such pathetic and unimportant things, like yesterdays boots episode. ITS A PAIR OF BOOTS WOMAN GET OVER IT!! but thats why i like BB to see people who are totally different to myself.

Hi,
know I am going to get ripped apart for this but ebony obviously finds the n word extremely offensive - as many people do - so she maybe over reacted in her comments.

However do we really need lots of people siding up against one person and making comments like we've got your back or whatever? I sometimes get annoyed on here when some people can seamingly say what they want and when another person disagrees if they are not as 'popular' they get shouted down.

Oh BTW I am glad Emily has gone as I would have voted her out for looking down on EVERYONE !!! Don't think she recovered from the fact that Ziggy liked someone else more than her.

I have tried so hard to ingnore this one but sorry I just can't, it will grate on me all day if I do!
I catagorically refuse to apologise for trying to make Becks feel better when she had been blatently attacked. Ebony's post was unecessarily presumptious and rude.
It's just a good job Becks is a bigger person than I am and has witheld from being dragged into this little debate in a most dignified manner!!
I wish I could remain so calm!

can i just say that i feel really sorry for Chanelle & it doesn't matter what she does in there i will always like her & would never slate her.
she had such a shit childhood-her mother was a prostitute & was murdered when Chanelle was 4, Chanelle was brought up by adoptive parents.

i really feel for her it must be awful knowing this, she has also -so far, kept it a secret from her housemates.

I heard that too, and also that her mum was strangled and the killer is being released in august? Dont know how true that is though

But at the end of the day, shes still a spoilt snotty moocow who acts like a little girl, and I dont think her situation excuses it atall.
