Just wanted to say a thankyou & goodbye to the bfing section #sob

We have had the most troubled journey feeding! Tt, upper lip tie, deep palette, too small to feed, not gaining, low lying nipples, using nipple shields & expressing from day 1! But as Harrison nears his half-birthday I am getting ready to stop.

We had 9 weeks of ebfing & we will get to 6 months of combi-feeding. I am only expressing twice a day now & we have one nurse-to-sleep in the afternoon. But I know that every drop of bm is a bonus.

I'm so so proud of us for getting this far, and a lot of that has been down to the wonderful support of the ladies on this section.

But we are living proof that even the hardest bfing journey can be overcome! Goodluck to all the new mummys, and I will pop my head in occasionally to try & offer some of my own support!

Well done for getting so far, I'm sure many would have quit by now. You were an inspiration to me, I remember reading your threads in the early days of my BF journey (including the I'm stopping, no I'm not, yes I am threads lol) and thinking - if you can do it through all your hurdles, then so can I
