Hi everyone i'm feeling really annoyed tonight. I was called to the docs to discuss my day 22 blood results, had a different doctor as my usual one is now on maternity leave (ironic eh) well i dont think he had a clue, he said that the results were 6.6 and 21 (whatever that means) and that they were acceptable. He then went on to say that OH would have to go for a seaman annalasys, when i asked how to arrange this his reply was "i havent got a clue". i went on to ask what would happen if OH test results were ok and he jus said"they'll prop refer you to the fertility clinic" . i feel really disheartened now like he couldnt give a shit was happens xxxx

oh hunni some doctors havnt got a clue! .. Do you have a family planning centre near you? I went to my doctor because i havnt had a period in 10 weeks and i asked him what blood tests could be done and he said theres no blood tests that will tell you anything?? So i went to my family planning and they were great they refered me to a gyne to figure out whats going on, im ttc since january and nothing.. And they told me il have to have bloods done to see if im ovulating! xx

Wow, that's a really insensitive way to deal with your situation. I really feel for you - I'd expect a lot more from a doctor of all people. Hopefully if/when you get referred you'll get to talk to someone much better

Thanks guys well im just going to wait for OH to have his test (if we can find out where to go) and take it from there i guess i just feel like i've hit a brick wall, one things for sure nxt time i go to the docs i WONT be asking to see him xx ps, i thought 21 was pretty low for progesterone levels, does anybody know much about it, the flippin doc didnt even know he googled it while i was sat there god knows where he qualified lol xx

my progesterone went from2 to 16 last month but mine is still low yours is fairly good they like it to be 20 and above so i was told, sorry to hear about your doc hes such a numpty!!!! get your hubby to book in and tell them he needs to be refered for semem analysis they will give him a form and test pot and you will ring the number on the back of the form(mind you, you coul be waiting for about 3 months to get one) and then they will go from there i hope that helps you xxxx
