I went to Primark to get the stuff for my hospial bag the other day. Im pretty skint at mo and need to buy lots for the new house so had to keep the price down! Unfortunately I spent £32  , but I did get:

1 X red pyjamas
1 x pink pyjamas
1 x grey strappy top (to go under red pj's top-Big boobs!!!)
1 x pj cardigan top in grey (for warmth and to cover my arms that I hate
 )
1 x pink nightie with butterflies on and buttons for booby feeding
1 pair of rainbow stripey slippers
1 pair of bed socks
packet of cheap massive granny knickers to go over disposable knickers
Pink sorbet shower creme
1 Bracelet (ok so this wasn't for the hospital bag!!!)

Think thats it.

Really pleased with them, love getting a shower or bath and putting new pj's and slippers on!!!

Primark is ace. Loads of people put it down, but living on a budget has made it a God send!

I think my whole Hosptial bag contains nothing but Primark stuff  Even the bag itself I bought form Primark! Its a huge black one with huge white circles all over it.
I love their large granny knickers too. I bought loads when I had DS2 and have re-stocked up this time.
Also my PJ bottoms for when in hospital consisit of Primark thin jog pants, in a size 18 I hasten to add (im a 6/8 pre-pregnancy), but for £3 Its MUCH cheaper than maternity PJ's! :D

I couldnt live without Primark now

my friend is a real lables girl and spends a fortune on clothes (she works hard for it and can afford it, she enjoys it so its up to her) but Im a bargain girl through and through. Love primark and charity shops!!!

Its so funny when we go shopping together, she doesnt even look, even though its cheap!!!

:rotfl:

I was shocked at how much clothing I had when I was packing yesterday, but its all from primark and charity shops (just the odd monsoon bargain!!!)

Could spend days rumidging in charity shops :D

well done only £32 on all that lot bargin  love a bargin much more then an expensive lable even if i could afford it which i cant
i love primark too 8) im off there tommorow to get some breast feeding friendly tops and some new clothes now my bump is receding

sarah

My best mate was the same, she worked in Topshop for 5 years while at college and would never look at Primark...until when we were living together and I bought home stuff from Primark IDENTICAL to what was on sale in Topshop but a tenth of the cost!!

It took her a few trips but she is now right in to it!

I just avoid it on Saturdays...unless I'm waiting outside at 9am!!

Lulu woohooooooooooooooo for the bargains

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I lurrrrrrrrrvvvvvvvvveeeeeeee primark!!!

Im the same dont go on a sat! A weekday is best.

Im dying to get down there at the min before my mat pay gets cut.

I wish I could shop at Primark! I honestly try really hard! The last time I was in I tried on SO MANY things. After ages of sweating and nearly passing out (for some reason they blast the heat in there AND have the very bright lights) I realised I couldn't actually squeeze into anything- even size 18s! I then walked over to Next, picked up a pair of jeans that were reduced, and got them in a size 14. They were £15 I think, which was more than the Primark ones, but I got them in January and can still wear them, and they are in perfect condition, so they were worth it! Also, I tried on a bra at Primark that time and got a rash! My good friend gets so many cute things there... I don't know why I have such bad luck!

I did the same as you last week lulu, I got a lot of my maternity bag stuff from primark- 5 pairs of huge pants for £2.50!!!! Brilliant. I also had a great nightie for breastfeeding in for £3- you just can't go wrong. I ove primark PJ's/ undies they are great.

primark is the best! i was supposed to go there this weekend, but it would have been too busy for my liking! lol i love bargains. i am thinking of filling my hospital bag with primark things too! especially the big knickers!

 for Primark! hehe

I always go in there 'to look' and end up leaving with bags of stuff!

I got all my stuff from primark too!
I actually still have some pj bottoms from when I had my daughter so they last long for the price of them!
I'm the same as you joann, go in for a nosey and end up with a basket full!!

I LOVE primark, i admit i used to be a snob ( i also worked in Topshop ) and would never ever look in primark until i found that they do just the same stuff as topshop and i'm not that bothered when ive wore um a few times and they are out of shape because i paid nothing for them, unlike topshop where i still wear um and they go outta shape after a few times!!!

Went back in today as the red pair of pj's were too small for my bump (keeping them for after pregnancy) and got a pair of pink stripey pj bottoms for £4 and a pink and white vest top for £2.50.

I also got a pack of 2 pillows for the new house at £4. I have to say though I was surprised at the cost of bedding!!! £20 for a double set and that doesnt include the sheet!!! :x
