TEXT RECIVED FROM SAMI!

Hi everyone. im on the hospital internet in my room but its very slow so i cant get on much. just wanted to come on and say thank you so much for all your support and well wishes.
the scan showed that she may have too much fluid on her brain, must see a specialist next week to go through it all. still having episodes of contractions and i'll be in this hospital till after the weekend at least because at the moment they have room in scbu for a baby of our daughters gestation. it could literally be anytime but we're praying that it's a few weeks yet, just at least till she is stronger and weighs more than her current measly 1lb 3oz estimate. (600g)
hopefully i shall be back home soon, baby in tum still and she'll be ok. Poor Damien isn't very happy about mummy beng away so much. bless him.

thank you all for the messages, and especially big thanks to nic and hev who are keeping you updated. thanks to those texting me too, it's keeping me a bit more sane! me and mark are overwhelmed from the support and very truely greatful. look afer yourselves x x

Heres hoping you can keep her inside just a while longer, hopefully the fluid will have reduced and your contractions stop. Ella was in special care with a boy born at 23 weeks and we still see him a couple of times a week, no way would you ever know he was so prem, he has no complications at all (hes a little small for his age but thats to be expected) They also say girls are better fighters in nicu(they progress faster)

sami so sorry ur having to go thro this hope lil princess stays in longer and the fluid goes down

Every hour and day is just that one step further, i noticed your 24 weeks today Sami, well done baby girl!! Be good for mommy and daddy xx
