flickr text help!

driving me mad!

Someone please tell me how to do the add text thing on flickr.

I go into create & add text but no option comes up for the font style & then just times & times and doesn't add on!!!!

Also, if I do get it to work, do I have to creat a new text everytime or can I save it somewhere & reuse it with each photo?

Please help

I found the first time I did it I had to wait a little for it to load, the font option is below the box where you type the text - once you click add, it'l put the text on the pic, then you can change the font etc.........let me know if its still not working & I'll open it rather than explaining from memory

You go into the option 'all sizes' click on the tab for the size you want, I have been using medium, then at the bottom are 2 lines of code, use the URL, you just need to add the

at the end (no gaps)

Ive been copying the url into photobucket... im sure there is an easier way though, im just too thick to figure it out. I did find a code but it came up something like this:

<a><img></a>

To post a link to the photo click on all sizes (in flickr, not picnic) and it will bring up a page with the url at the bottom. Ignore me if you already knew that

Sarah - Have you added 'picnik' as you have to be in 'picnik' mode for the create area to work? If you have pop up blocker you may have to click on the bar that pop up at the top to block it, and allow pop ups so you can add it

when you have the image up on the screen it's got options above it - the one where you click 'edit' is there too. If you click the 'all sizes' option it'll take you to a page with a large version of your image and options to change it to medium etc and then below the picture is the link you need


As for the text thing, can u do a screen print to show us what you get to see if we can help?

There is a button under the text box hich says add and you need to click that once you've written your text and then you can change the size and fade etc. xx

Hope you got it sorted Kirlykird! It took me all night to put text to my pics last night I hope I don't find out there is a way of adding the same text to all pics!
