Hi everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post. I just wanted to post a thread because I'd like some advice/words of wisdom
I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in August, it was my first pregnancy and it was very painful and traumatising. I had been cramping and bleeding lightly for one week before I lost the baby and I was devastated. I just found out I'm pregnant again (5 weeks 2 days), and I feel completely different this time! I've had sickness, tender breasts etc which I guess is a good sign, but I'm still so terrified of miscarrying again.
I am having lower tummy cramps every day, they aren't severe and don't last long, but I'm scared I'm losing another baby. Every time I go to the bathroom I'm looking for blood, and I just can't seem to relax and enjoy being pregnant. And because my first ever pregnancy ended in miscarriage it's making me more nervous.
Is cramping normal in early pregnancy? Sometimes it is quite painful but nothing too severe. I'm thinking of asking my doctor for an early scan, do you think they would see anything this early on?
Any advice would be appreciated so much, I'm so nervous! xx
