My little boy has just turned 4 month and he is definitely teething. Red cheeks, fountain of dribble, random cries of pain. Plus he enjoys chewing on his hand and our fingers if we give them in.

Basically what have people found helps. He has teethers but he doesn't seem to like any of them. I can only assume its because his hand eye coordinate is not yet perfect.

Teething bonjela seems to help temporarily but not for very long. I'm not sure what else to try and should I be giving him Calpol or Nurofen too? I just don't like seeing him in this pain :(

Mellie we've tried a powder I can't remember the name I'll look tomorrow (I'm having an early night I'm shattered!) it's an old fashioned type remedy in a white box with blue writing. Not sure how effective it was though but might be worth a try.

We have used baby paracetamol too and that seems to help

Aston and parsons? We used that too.

Teething. Such a hard wee thing for a baby to do. I know how I felt with ONE wisdom tooth coming down never mind lots of them moving about down there.
Anbesol liquid is great! I would recommend that - it doesn't roll of your finger or the gum like the gels do iykwim?? We have also used the sachets but I don't hesitate to give the paracetamol and/or ibuprofen if I think he is sore with it. xx

I've used Ashton and parsons with both my babies and bongela, ive heard putting a damp face cloth in the freezer for a bit then letting them chew on that really helps and cools down their little gums
