Sorry girls this is more of a rant than a question about symptoms ...
so when I was pregnant on Riley I had problems with my teeth cracking. In fact I lost half of one early on in the pregnancy. I was due to go for a root canal week before last when I went out I was Pregnant. So I kept the appointment and just explained to the dentist that I had two unfinished fillings that I'd like refilled and secured with strong temp filling until baby arrived.
she was more than happy to do that but advised that if I got any kind of pain in the tooth that actually neede a root canal I should go back to her straight away as it was safer to numb me than give me antibiotics when pregnant.
And blow me if two days later i didn't start getting pain in the tooth, so back I went on Monday and she decided to clean out the tooth and remove the root etc ready for when I could have it filled with amalgam after baby was born.
This evening I'm eating dinner when I suddenly realise the tooth in question feels a bit sharp so I ask DH to have a look, and sure enough exact same thing as what happened on Riley, I've only swallowed the front of my tooth !!!!
all that is left is the sides and back and a lovely showing of temp filling !!!
I'm so bloody cross, because I'm sure she could have put some kind of coating on those two teeth to harden tham or something. So now I have to go back again tomorrow !!!
And then dentists (not mine I must add) have the bloody cheek to say that women having problems with their teeth in pregnancy is an Urban Myth !!!!
