Teats - When to change

We have Avent bottles and currently using number 2 teats and have been since she was 3 days old on the advice of the MW as dd was struggling with size 1's as she was a bit early and not that good with her sucking reflex.

She has started to now fall asleep on most bottles and cries sometimes when eating (and it's not wind) with what seems to be frustration. I'm debating changing her teats to size 3's but not sure if these signs are this or something else.

What made you change to faster teats for your LO's?

we sort of went by the age that it says on the teats. just as a rough guide.

But savannah started getting frustrated with no 2's but we tried her on no 3's and she started to cough alot so we went back to 2's and just tried the 3's a week or so later.

If your lo was on 2's quite early its likely that she will go onto 3s early as well.

Just try it i guess... She will let you know if shes not ready. and you can always save them because she will need them soon anyway so it's not like its a waste of money.
