Teams?

Hi,
Can someone please explain the teams i.e yellow, blue etc? Quite new to this and not sure what people are referrring to.

Team blue - you're having a boy, team pink - you're having a girl. Team yellow - you're waiting till the birth to find out what you're having

Doh!, thought it was how far you were on etc, never seen a person say team pink or i may have guessed. Wow feel canny stupid for asking now.

Ah don't feel stupid, it took me a while to work it out when I was new here too
