tax credits???

Hey, so I just went onto the gov website to check if i would be entitled to tax credits and it says I will be entitled to £186. How often is this paid? i.e monthly/annually etc? many thanks

We get out tax credits monthly

Yeah its normally 4 weekly, ie never on the same date.


We get £83 a month. Thats based on a salary of around 40k tho

I must have done something wrong then, our joint salary is almost £41K

i get £205 a week but thats including my workin tax and childcare eliment x

what dates did you put in? if you used the calculator ont he site then it'll be the amount you'd get if you applied now - up until beginning of April - so it's the figure for the rest of the tax year (so divide it by the weeks left)
