Tax credits....whooo hooo!

Hiya I rang the Tax credits helpling today : 0845 300 3900

...and we are entitled to £3.50 a week Working tax credits and £50.54 a week Child tax credits! We can only backdate it 93 days unfortunately but thats our fault for not putting a claim in years ago But hey better late then never as they say. We are well chuffed

50 a week thats more then i get now ! i only get 80 a month and thats being halfed when he turns one !!!

We get £40 per week and i have 2 children, i guess it will change when baby arrives?

Thats great you got it. There are so many people out there that dont know they are entitiled or how to do the forms and its a shame. There should be some sort of income maximisation system / officer for new parents.
