Taking on more work?

I'm a mobile hairdresser but tbh work hasn't been great for last 8 months (a lot to do wiv me ttc and then fallin pg) anyway I got a call from my grandads cleaner yesterday,she works in a care home and they're currently without a hairdresser and she asked if she could take my number to pass on...it's a great opportunit workwise and if it comes about will b an extra £50+ a week but I'm 6 months pregnant and not sure if I should b takin on the workload,it's only 1 day a week and the extra money will help a lot,I think I could manage til I'm 36 weeks but then I'm gonna have to leave them in the lurch...I know another mobile hairdresser who would prob take over for me but she doesn't like me much and chances r she'd try and steal my position....aaagh decisions decisions xxx

I think i would take it and let them know thattoull be on leave soon and then pass them over to someone else - are you still gonna cut hair after baby is born? Or have time off etc? Xx

I'm plannin on havin the full 39 weeks maternity (starting in a couple of weeks) then I was planning on doin care for an agency cos pf the flexi hours that I can do (don't fancy paying for childcare in holidays etc) then carry on the hairdressing on the side. I did 10 years as a carer up until February this year so know I won't have a problem gettin a job.

I've just looked the home up on the Internet and it's for severally disabled adults with behavioural problems...I'm worried at the risk that may put myself and baby in...although it'll b much more my style of hairdressing and less shampoo and sets lol xx

oh blimey! well thats a very considerate job defo think the time off is gonna be nice though, maybe just do the job youve been offered until you can manage. all the cash the better! xx
