I'm sick of all this worry. I've made up my mind to take control of my own body and do something about these cysts. Here's my plan so far.......

1. Have the procedure on my ovary to get rid of the cyst that's causing me immediate problems

2. Gender scan (I'm going to demand one Monday) to see if I'm carrying a girl, they will do one if gender specific genetic problems are involved

3. Ask if I can have genetic screening to pinpoint if I have a hereditary risk of passing it on to a daughter (if this child is a boy and I have a daughter in the future). These sorts of studies are done all the time so I'll put myself forward.

4. To research all I can in cyst prevention and natural ways I can reduce the risks to me and a daughter.

5. Discuss the option of egg harvesting for the future if the biopsy comes back with a bad result.

This is it so far, some of it may never happen but I will discuss all of this with the specialists and of course the urgency of it depends if I am having a girl or not. I've done my falling apart, the tears and the anguish and now it's time to deal with it. This has gone on for far too long and I will not have a daughter of mine go through this if I can possibly help it xxxxxxxxx

You know you don't get anything if you don't ask and persist in asking. More power to your elbow.

Yeah loving that Sunday morning attitude and thoughts babybrain!!

Sounds like a good plan to me. I always think it's better to have a plan then at least you can feel in some ways that you're in control (even if you're not!!)

Hope you've had another night pain free x x x

You go girl!!
Yes push for what you want, tell them how unhappy it is all making you, lay it on thick until you get the answers you need.
Good luck Baby brain! xxx

I'm liking the PMA! Keep it up and good luck x
