Taking a 13 week old baby on holiday

I know there has been threads about taking babies on holiday but just wondering if anyone has taken there LO away on holiday this young before and if so how did you find it. We are thinking of booking up for September but I'm not going to bother if it's not the best idea. I used to work in airport and seen babies this age go away loads but just not sure if its wise or not. Xx

We're going to Devon for a week in August when Jack will be nearly 8 weeks old! Apart form dreading the packing part we so excited!! We are going with my OH's Parents (free holiday ) so we will have help if we need it.

I'm sure you'll have a fab time hun, just do what I plan on doing and write a list of everything the 3 of you will need a week before you start packing so if you forget something you can write it down before you actually start packing x

I'm just a bit wary cos we are thinking of going abroad, like Spain or something. If I think it's a bad idea I might just have a holiday down south or something but really want to go abroad lol x

Hi Emma. Go for it. I have the same worries with Daniel. I'm going to book up for the canaries at end of year when he will be 9 months.

I went out to Dubai when G was 13 weeks old to see DH and its was fine, even though I was traveling on my own with him. Go for it - enjoy a family holiday
