Just wondered if you are suffering with sickness if you have had any medication, at first the dr gave me cyclizine, which only helped for the first couple of days then i had phenergan which helped for a little while but the last 4 days i have been really bad and everything i eat is coming back up so now i have prochlorperazine fingers crossed they help a bit not sure why it has suddenly got worse again i feel so bad for keep letting them down at work as i only work afternoons 12-4 but can't even manage that this week! anybody else had luck with medication or am i wasting my time?

I was put straight on prochlorperazine and that sorted me right out!

i was put on cyclazine and told to take one 3 times a day, had about 2 weeks worth, it did help ease it enough so i could eat which is all i wanted really

I had cyclizine but it made me really drowsy so I went onto metoclopramide for about 4 months, it never really stopped the sickness or nausea, but it did help me keep some food and water down for long enough to benefit.
If I didnt take them I would be sick every few minutes upwards of 30 times a day and everything bounced, if I did take them I would only be sick maybe every hour and could keep small mouthfuls down.

I think people react differently but if they really arent helping at all and you still cant keep anything down then I would maybe go back to your docs, last thing you want is to get dehydrated :-(
Hope you feel better soon hon, I really feel for you, my sickness only really became manageable at about 21 weeks and I know its a dark time, but there is light at the end of the tunnel it does get better!!!!!

I had prochlorperazine from 8 weeks til around 13 weeks. Never had any others ones, but that worked pretty well. Pretty hard to keep them down when your feeling sick all the time though.

:)

thanks girls i think the dr gave me the ones that disolve so they have more chance of staying down fingers crossed they will work for me untill this eases which will hopefully be soon!
