Hello all!
So i have a cold basically but its not really a cold. I have the runny nose and the sneezing but i don't have the horrible run down feeling or being blocked up constantly. Is it normal not to get colds as bad as before when your expecting? I wish all of my colds were this nice lol i usually get really really ill with them!

iv had a cold for over 4 wks your ammune system is lower because of the pregnancy ad it can affect sinues as well apperntly just rest alot if you can

Hiya! I was ill the whole of December and most of January with a really bad chest infection and cold which just didn't seem to want to go away, I only found out I was pregnant though on the 12th January which explained why it took so long for my body to fight off the illness. Now I still have a really runny nose with no other cold of flu symptoms so I assume it's normal

Its just odd that i don't feel ill with it lol surely if my immune system was bad i'd be in bed moaning like a man about having the flu lol. I just can't stop sneezing x

I heard sneezing in itself is a pregnancy symptom and so is a runny / congested nose.

it could just be 2 symptoms and not a cold at all x

For about 2 days last week my nose was really runny and blocked up but other than that I felt fine. No headache or anything...just blocked nose. But ive heard having a blocked nose is quite common.

yeah bet its just pregnancy symptoms and not a real cold. good news
