Just an interesting thought.

My baby was breech a few weeks ago. One day we were walking past a park with a deserted childrens play area, and I decided that I fancy to sit on the swings for a bit. So I had a lovely time swinging (gently ish). After that, I felt some major movements in my tummy.

Anyway, I went to see my mw again today, and yep, it looks like the baby has turned! :) :) :) I am pretty sure that it happened right after I used the swings - this was the biggest movement I could remember during those weeks.

Thought I should share - maybe some other girls here have breech babies and don't know how to make them turn. Swings might be a more pleasant way to do this than crawling around the room on all 4s etc :)

I'm definitely going to try this! There's a park just round the corner from my house, so if there's a dry day this week then I might have a go! Then hopefully I'll get some good news on monday when I go and see MW!

Thanks for the tip! I didn't like all the advice of being on all fours etc, so I hadn't been doing it, but I LOVE the swings!

xx

ft90 very welcome :) even if it doesn't work for you, it's fun!

I was also reading about what you can do to make your baby turn... Apparently you can stand on all 4s with your bum up in the air for 10 minutes every 2 hours (!!). Great. I work full time, and my boss is very understanding generally, but I think that doing such exercises during working hours would be taking it a bit too far lol

Haha yeah I read something like that too! I'm just around the house all day, but I tried that position and it just makes all the blood rush to my head and makes me feel like I'm going to faint! I can't find a position where I can keep my bum up and my head up!

xx
