Sweep

At the school today one of the mums told me that if you are in a lot of pain the MW will offer you a sweep at 38 week!
Has anyone hurd that B4?
I havent, I have my 38 week appointment tomorow

i havnt heard of this either, but you could ask your m/w to do one if you are in alot of pain, no harm in asking anyway

Well my midwfie is talking about bringing baby on if I am in pain bcasue of SPD.... that might mean a sweep??????

I know they will offer inductions from 37 weeks onwards and a sweep is a minor form of this right?? I would ask her...

I am seeing the consultant on friday and I am definatley going to ask about getting this baby out early!

I am of there soon so I think ill ask it wont hurt. They were going to induce me at 36 weeks but they decided not to so I am only asking for a bit of help 1 and a half weeks early!
