sweep and pains

Hey everyone

So I went to midwife on Thursday and she did the sweep as I'm 40+5 days (today)
My due date was Mondaythe 13th pipsqueak decided he wants a later birthday haha.
Anyway after I had sweep I was fine but she said the baby was so low down she couldn't get to the opening of my cervix as it was behind the baby'shead. (2/5 engaged)

Since yesterday iI've been having what feel like trapped wind/period pains but mainly when baby seems to move or when I'm upright, they ease a lot when I lay down on my side. And same again today but today I've lost some of my plug which I did at the startof tthe week but was a lot more today.

I'm just wondering if this could be the start..

Not that I can tell its mainly when I'm upright and the baby is moving about.
That's why I wondered or if its just pressure of the baby's head doing it. I was fine this morning up until about 2-2:30 wish when they started again.

I know hun im a FTM too, I'm waiting to be induced this week as the sweep never worked so even more anxious but I'm sure we will both meet our bundles of joy soon enough

Hope this is the start of things for you. I had a sweet when my second child was about 5 days over and it seemed to cause lots of cramping for me, ultimately didn't do anything as he stayed put intil 42 weeks!

Fingers crossed this is getting things moving for yuo x
