hi - sorry if this has already been spoken about in a different thread but can anyone advise is it worth getting one of these for my baby who is due soon. If so can anyone recommend any particular make.

Thanks x

im glad i didnt , leland would never let me tuck his arms in and his now been in gro bag since 4 weeks as his kicked his covers off or went under them .

sure others will say yes tho

Thanks for that I have a grow bag is there any particular make you would recommend? Thanks

My LO loves to be swaddled but I don't like the swaddling blankets, I just use a celular blanket and find it much better. I think you are better off waiting until your LO is here to see what they like, I wish we had, we could have saved a fortune on junk we bought that he wont ever use! You will soon know what they like and dislike!

i knew while still in hossy he wasnt gonna be swaddled for long , arms above his head from word go lol

Baby smile was a really bad sleeper until we swaddled him properly - he hated being swaddled and was a real arms above hus head baby too..

but in desperation we started using a miracle blanket for swaddling - as he couldn't get out he settled really quickly and slept through at 10 weeks.

with the hot weather we have stopped swaddling him and he has stopped sleeping through....

I wouldnt waste your money just yet.

I always use a cotton Pram flat sheet folded half'ish into a Triangle. Also in hot weather a Large Muslin square can be used, which means baby is much much cooler.
DS2 slept through at 8 weeks being swaddled in a Muslin :D
