But if Sugarpop could get a positive with just water (I'd try it but don't want to waste the money!!) and I've had 2 tests dipped in same failed ivf fmu urine (1 faint line and 1 completely blank bfn) surely some of these tests have to be faulty?
They promise 99% accurate but it's more like 1% accurate!
I dipped it in water because they were the only ones I was getting + on. I had 2 of them positive and a few FRER that were negative. Also had a blood test which showed my HCG was <1.
May have had a faulty batch but I've certainly never used them again.
You would think that the tests would be subjected to rigorous 'testing'?
I cant imagine how they would have sold them for so long without so much more evidence online of dissatified customers.
I can envisage the odd faulty digital, but I had lines on my tests and 3 positive digitals as the lines got stronger. I also had faint pink lines on Frers.
Granted I didn't show up on a Clearblue digital.
Before I used Superdrug, the same happened with the clear blue earlys. I got faint blue lines but later started to bleed and the lines would disappear.
I thought at one point it was my body, that I had more hcg in general for some reason but then I would get strong positives 10-12 dpo on earlys and positive digitals which then went negative as the lines also began to fade.
This would suggest there is a pattern and the tests are measuring something in my urine at the co ordinating points for fertilisation/implantation.
Since the tests are designed to pick up hcg, I can then only conclude I was pregnant.
Given that oh and I dtd every other day at least, the potential of pregnancy was also good.
If we hadn't dtd at all, then I might be more suspicious of faulty tests. Xx
