Stupid doctor

It's been a month since my doctor sent a referral to a specialist so that I could start the progress of checking out why I haven't been able to get pregnant yet.

Since I didn't hear anything from the specialist, I called them, and they told me that I wasn't registered My doctor obviously didn't send the referral and now I have to do it and it will probably take ages before I get an appointment...

Sorry for the rant, just had to get it out! Just so disapointed, because I though I would see a specialist real soon, but now I just have to wait a bit longer...

I agree with Dita I would ring my doctor and have a go, that is unfair having to make you wait even longer ... do these people not realise that a day feels like a week when TTC!!

Sorry to hear that, it's so annoying for you. I agree with the others, I'd be on the phone to the doctor and asking why they haven't done it.

I can understand your disappointment. That is why is seem to be paying for some of these treatments myself because i don't want to risk being jerked around.

I would definately phone up he doctor and ask why the clinic are telling you that you aren't registered when he said that he was going to refer you.

You don't have to go crazy, but at least made him aware fo the upset he has caused.

It might not even be him at fault. Might be the post office. Might be the clinic (ofcourse they are going to pass blame).

It's just one more cycle trying naturally, not a cycle that is completely wasted

I phoned him and he said he had sent the referral and that this had to be a misunderstanding. Well, maybe I get lucky and get pregnant before this? Who knows? Thanks for listening ladies! Don't know what I would have done with out you!!

At least you know now he actually did something, thats good news. Hopefully he will chase up the problem now and get you that appointment asap. But as you say, here's hoping you don't actually need it after all.
