stupid but desperate!

I rang my hairdresser about getting my hair dyed but she cant fit me in before the weekend, so i rang reflections, they wanted double what i would have paid my hair dresser and i simply cant afford it now we are both out of work.
I was only going to get the hair dresser to do it as i burt my head last time but im afraid i have taken drastic action and am doing it DIY again, i have bought a different dye this time and havnt done a test so hoping its ok.
I know its stupid but i am desperate, i feel crap anyway and my hair is a mess so didnt know what else to do.
I will let you know how it goes in a couple of hours if im not at A&E

Ive got a colour in the bathroom that im scared to use as well might get OH to do it tonight for me cause im sick of my roots!!

i did mine yesterday cause the blue i had before had gone grey so ive just made it dark brown. i would say use one without ammonia though

Well so far so good, im just hoping nothing sweels up or falls out over night.

My face swelled up and went red and i had blisters all over my head which were really sore went to the hairdressers a few weeks later and they said i shouldnt use hairdye again as the reactions only get worse. Its weird cos i used hairdye for years and now im allergic. Took a while getting used to having plain brown hair but now i love it!

i didnt sleep atall last night as i was so worried this may happen to me, im fine still today but i did use a different dye this time, i have always used 'nice and easy' for years but the last time it really did burn my head, i had blisters and scabs for weeks but when i put this one on it didnt burn atall while i had it on so really hoping as nothing has happened now it wont.
I wouldnt mind going back to my normal colour but i have got a bit of grey now and i refuse to look like an old mum

I'm going to make an appointment with my hairdresser. I need my roots done and more. The grey hairs are showing all ove the place. UGH! I was only waiting to see if AF would show... and guess what? She did. Horrid woman
