Struggling

I'm starting to struggle these last few days. Really missing playing with my little girl properly, she sat on my knees early and tries to cuddle into me but bump is in the way a bit and it's too uncomfortable. I was coping really well up to now. I have had 4 nights in a row of crap interrupted sleep and my stomach is really starting to mess about again. Today we had a BBQ to go to and I felt so bloated and uncomfortable I've been in bed since my little girl went to bed at 7. Dozing now and again but waking up with hot flushes and a nasty burning sensation in my tummy that gaviscon is not touching . Just can't wait for the physical strain of pregnancy to be over. 8 weeks feels like a lifetime lol x

Roxyroo I know how you feel, I am getting real uncomfortable too, especially the HEARTBURN oh my god!!!!! It doesnt let me sleep or do anything at all, gaviscon helps but for like 15-20 mins and then its back again...not long to go, yeah? we ve just got to suffer a little bit more...

I totally sympathise with you! I found my second pregnancy so much hard work and what made it a million times harder was not being able to do much with my son toward the end. I honestly thought after I'd had the baby I'd still be struggling cos I had a c-section, but I already feel better after the op than I did when I was carrying all the extra weight of my youngest around!! And it's only been a week!

Go to see your gp about the heartburn they can prescribe you something better. I had to as rennies, gaviscone and tums weren't touching it at all. I was having sleeplessness nights and with a DD of 3 who's active all day I was running out of energy just trying to stay awake.
Tablets they gave me have helped I can now get some sleep apart from bump keeping me up but its a big relief from having heartburn to go with it.
I'm starting to struggle to do anything with my DD also and sitting on my knee well it kinda hurts when she try's to get a cuddle.
I've recently been sleeping with no blankets as I'm so hot and bothered where as OH has been cold and needing the heating on lol can't win either way.

I'm already taking omoperazole and up till now it has been working wonders! Maybe it's just a phase and baby will move soon. That's what I'm hoping anyway x

I hope so too but if not Ask them for gaviscon advanced you can take it with omeprazole
