me and my other half were watching a programme on tv the other night and there was a lady on who had really bad stretch marks and my OH made a really uurrgghh noise as he was disgusted, i was quite gobsmacked and said how would you feel about me if i got them, he avoided answering by saying well you didnt with the other two and put lots of oil on your belly!!

Just one more thing to worry about, how do your OH feel about them.

He's not really said anything, he'd be one brave man if he did!

Was that programme the super-skinny vs super-size or whatever it's called?
I watched that and was like "Errrrr". Mum said she obviously didn't use anything on her skin when she was pregnant, cause I was a bit worried I would look like that" :p

I think also she lost weight after she had each child, and so that resulted in stretch-marks being visible.

I already have some stretch-marks on my thighs, they are from dance workouts in college (stretching my skin).
Although they are barely visible now, My OH doesn't mind them. But of course I do mind having stretch-marks on my body and so I am going to try and prevent that from happening in this pregnancy :) xxx

i used palmers cocoa butter when i was pregnant..
and i havent got any, i dont know if it was down to the cream or me just being lucky!
if i was to get any with future pregnancys.. i just look at it as.. its part of being a mum :)
but my other half hates them.!! xxx

I have got stretch marks from my previous pregnancies, I think it depends on your skin type more than anything. My DH looks at them and smiles, and when I ask him what he's smiling at he just says "That's where our babies were".
Hoping this one doesn't make them any worse though! x

I was lucky with No#1 and didn't end up with any but this time round who knows. All you can do is keep moisturising and what will be will be. If I get them, it won't be the end of the world - my bikini wearing days aren long gone anyway!!!

Besides, stretchmarks are the badge of motherhood :)

I have stretch marks appearing now...I;ve been using bio oil but I both my mum and dad have stretch marks (my mum from 5 kids and my dad from weight gain/loss) so I knew i was going to get them x My oh doesnt mind I don't think x He said as long as baby is growing well ten i've to get as many as needed :S x

I'm sure it's genetic I'm trying tonembtace mine as there not going to go away anytime soon!

Palmers coco butter ( the old style wax version) all the way!

Xx
