i know no-one likes stretch marks, and theres nothing you can do once get them,
but after 2 and half months after having oliver, i'm feeling sooo low about them, i wont even take him swimming as i dont want to get in costume. on legs etc too.

i'm concidering having laser treatment, i know it wont cure them but should help a little, but with a price of almost £2000 i feel guilty, it would have to be on finance..

how have you girls coped with them?

i'm only 20 and i feel i cant enjoy my life with them, i know it seems so veing and selfish, i'd rather have a healthy baby anyday but as hes fine healthy and happy, i just hate my body!

seriously gettin lower and lower by the day :'( xxx

i got terrible stretch marks when i was younger and on steroids and got quite upset but they do fade quite quickly and now you can hardly see them. i now have some from my pregnancy but im not too fussed this time round..

I certainly wouldnt have the laser treatment hun.. but thats just m

I know how you feel. These stretch marks are totally worth it but I can't help feeling down about them either. I look like I have a mountain range running across my stomach :wall:

i got terrible ones with Thomas red raw ones on my hips/belly and after 8 months they are now silver and they were really bad
the ones on my belly that wasnt too bad and thighs faded quicker
ive yet to find anything that helps them though but they do get better hun
xx

Wait until you' ve stopped BF and your body is back to normal befoer doing anything drastic.

My stretch marks have only just started to fade and even though they are still there get much less noticable by the week. Give it some time and I'm sure they will get better

Let me know what the doc says.

I'm only 21. I too am covered, in huge bright red dents! I'm hoping they will fade over time xxx

Give it some more time before you make the decision of having them lasered and commiting to spending so much money.

I had them really bad on my belly with the pregnancy (they all just popped up in the last 2 weeks) but they have really faded loads (i wish i had took before pics). I can remember them though and although i wouldn't be confident enough to wear a bikini just yet i have started to view them as my 'dylan marks!' So that makes me feel a bit better about them. He is worth it!

im also interested to know wat the doc says as my belly looked like a a-z atlas, i was covered in them, well still am..... theyve faded a little but there stil there, and it gets me down too when i think about it.... xxxx

Have a  - its not nice feeling so self conscious is it, but try thinking of them as war wounds / a reminder of the little bundle of joy you gave birth to

I hate mine - my tummy is covered in them and although they ARE fading, when i worry about the look of them or think about them, i just remember that my little Joshua was the good that came from that bad bit !!
