Hi everyone,

Just needed some advice really.
My son was born with a stork bite on his forehead, all the midwives that saw him said it would disappear within 8 weeks.. It didn't. He's now 5 'months old. GP confirmed it was a stork bite and said it would slowly begin to fade as he grows up.

Has anyone else has this with their LOs? Did it fade over time?
I've grown used to it but today it seems redder than usual.

My sister was born with a very red stork mark on her arm. It has faded over the years, but it was still very red and noticeable until into her teens.

Yes Olly had it on his forehead and also on the back of his head, he is 2 now and totally gone apart from a little bit on the back of his head but you can't see it with his hair x

Yes! My second daughter. Freaked me out as I pointed it out to Hubby and he said 'wait til you see the one on the back of her head!'. She had one right between eyebrows and then a big one on the back of her head. Both have faded now. The one at the back was darker. Don't think it's gone completely but it's covered by hair now. She's 2 now.

Yes my son has one on the back of his neck. It has faded a little bit and is partly covered by hair now (he's 20 months old).

I got told it would fade the first year. My boy has one on his forehead, back of neck and head, also a little bit on his eyelids. I had a huge one on my forehead when I was born and it went after a couple of months but comes out when I'm angry and red faced apparently hahaha!

My daughter has an 'angels kiss' on her right eyelid. Hopefully it'll disappear over time.

Yip. My little girl had one on her eyelid. It faded over time, gone completely now she's 3. Was maybe about 1 year old I noticed it gone.

My eldest still has this when hes hot, been running or angry! Its only pale but there - hes 16 so i don't think they totally fade. The back one is never seen anyway

My 5 1/2 month old has stork marks on his eye and nose and they have faded but they are still very visible, I was looking online last night about them and it says by 18mt.
He also has the redness on the back of his neck again it's faded but visible- just part of him and babies have all sorts of blemishes and stuff so I wouldn't worry too much. Xxxxx

My daughter is two and the stork mark on her forehead has faded but still flares up when she's having a tantrum - ie all the time!!
